Inspiration for starting our company came from the contaminating dust we were ourselves experiencing on our own lifestyle section in New Plymouth. Hazards that arise from that contamination are extensive being not only unhealthy to people and animals alike but also disturbing our machinery and equipments performance abilities.
We decided to do some research, and to our amazement we found a hole in the NZ dust & erosion control market, where we could not locate a suitable product that could offer durability, be non-corrosive and have no harmful effects on people, plants and animals or aquatic life... Until we came across these amazingly unique products already being tested and proven worldwide, deciding we do some further research into the fantastic results.
We contacted the manufacturers, and more than happy to expand, they sent us samples of each product to apply to our contaminated yards and gravel track areas. ‘Brilliant’ we thought at own results from these products –and with that DustDown NZ Ltd was born – established to eliminate dust contamination nationwide – the environmentally friendly way!
Our vision @ DDNZ is to not only to give the relief required to people and business’ alike over NZ in controlling the unwanted dust contamination with DustLess®, that – let’s face it – is only going to worsen due to our global warming situation but to control and prevent erosion with DirtGlue® and also put a end to potholes with our own Pot Hole Patch repair kit for D.I.Y’ers alike containing the PotHoleGlue® but all the while doing this the environmentally conscious way!
